Man United game today: The new era of Manchester United will begin under Ralf Rangnick from Sunday afternoon when the Red Devils will welcome Crystal Palace at the Old Trafford stadium

The German boss’ side will feel confident coming into this game as they enjoyed an important victory against Arsenal on Thursday night. Despite trailing early into the game, Manchester United came away with all three points thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo‘s brace and Bruno Fernandes’ goal.

Ralf Rangnick will be in charge of this encounter and there will be a favourable run of fixtures for the Red Devils which will help the German boss to accumulate some crucial points from these encounters in order to solidify the top four spot.

Man United game today: Manchester United predicted line-up against Crystal Palace:

Man United game today: There are a few injury concerns for Manchester United, coming into this game as Paul Pogba, Raphael Varane and Edinson Cavani will not take any part in this encounter due to injury issues.

David De Gea has played every Premier League game so far this season and it is expected that Rangnick will continue with the Spaniard between the sticks.

It will be interesting to see how the German boss shapes his side and who will start at the heart of the defence. However, given the game is coming thick and fast, the 63-year-old manager might not want to change heavily in this game. So, Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire should start at the heart of the defence.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka was injured in the previous game and Diogo Dalot started in place of the Englishman and displayed a productive performance, therefore, it will be interesting to see who will start in this game if the former Place man is to be fit. On the other side, Alex Telles played the last three games and he might continue on the left-back as he did well enough to keep his place for this encounter.

In midfield, Rangnick wants intensity from their players and therefore, the German boss might want to continue with Fred and Scott McTominay in the midfield pivot role. Bruno Fernandes could be in the attacking midfield position after breaking his goal drought in midweek.

Marcus Rashford displayed a poor performance against Arsenal and looked unfit to play back to back games. Therefore, Anthony Martial might start in place of the Englishman and Jadon Sancho should start on the right. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo will lead the line for the Red Devils on Sunday after scoring his 800th goal on Thursday.

Manchester United predicted line-up against Crystal Palace:

Manchester United 2-0 Crystal Palace:

Ralf Rangnick’s biggest job will be to structure this Manchester United side, they have leaked plenty of goals so far this season and a clean sheet will help the Red Devils to build confidence from this encounter against Crystal Palace.
