Man United news of today: Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has no intention of stepping down from the managerial role and the Norwegian boss still believes that he can turn things around at the theatre of dreams as per the report in the English outlet The Sun(via Metro). 

The Red Devils have started the season on a disappointing note and are already nine points behind the league leader Chelsea where the Old Trafford outfit were thought to make a title charge this term after enjoying a brilliant summer transfer window. 

According to the report, Solskjaer is reportedly unhappy after not being credited for what he has done so far at Manchester United. The Norwegian boss believes that it is unfair that his tenure at the club is being judged by only this season’s performances where the Red Devils finished third and second respectively in his two full seasons and also took the club to the Europa League final where they only fell short to Villarreal. 

The Norwegian manager is also determined that he can turn things around at the Old Trafford stadium and has no plans of stepping down from his position.

Man United news of today: Dismissing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and bringing in a new manager would have been the right decision from the Manchester United hierarchy during this international break. However, the board has decided to stick by the Norwegian boss and it will be interesting to see how long they will persist with him. 

After losing 7-0 on aggregate at home to adversaries Liverpool and Manchester City, the fans have turned their backs on the Norwegian boss. And it will be extremely hard for the 48-year-old to bring the fans back on his side. 

Solskjaer has looked perplexed on the sideline in the last few games and tried different systems but nothing has worked yet. Reports were also suggesting that few senior players have started to doubt the 48-years-old’s managerial prowess. 

Therefore, things are not looking good at the Old Trafford stadium at this moment. Manchester United hierarchy are not looking well organized for this situation and they are hoping that the Norwegian boss will turn things around. However, the recent displays on the pitch do not look promising at all for the Red Devils.
