Manchester United have reportedly identified Olympique de Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara would be a perfect candidate to replace Paul Pogba as per the report in Spanish outlet Fichajes

After joining the club at the age of five, the 22-year-old has progressed through the Marseille youth system and made his first-team debut back in 2016 in a Coupe de la Ligue fixture against Sochaux. Since then, the midfielder has made 126 appearances over the past few campaigns, scoring three goals.

According to the report, following extensive scouting, Manchester United have identified that Olympique de Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara will be the perfect replacement for Paul Pogba

The report further claims that Manchester United midfielder is looking likely to leave the club at the end of this season and Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are all eyeing a move for the 28-year-old midfielder. And therefore, the Red Devils have shifted their attention to signing Kamara rather than trying to convince the world cup winner to stay.

Will Boubacar Kamara be a good fit for Manchester United?

Boubacar Kamara could be an apt replacement for Paul Pogba in Manchester United midfield. The Red Devils have been searching for a new defensive midfielder since last summer and were keen on signing Declan Rice from West Ham United. But, the Hammers have slapped a huge price tag on the Englishman.

Therefore, the Marseille youngster could be a very good purchase for the Old Trafford outfit, given his contract will expire at the end of this season and can be signed for free. With the Red Devils are in desperate need of a new defensive midfielder, signing one for free will be great for the Mancunians.

Meanwhile, letting Paul Pogba leave the club will be the right decision from the club hierarchy. The midfielder hasn’t been able to find his feet since joining the club. Therefore, allowing him to leave will be a shrewd decision rather than investing a lot of money in a player who has struggled with injuries in recent times.
