Manchester United news: Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane could be tempted in signing for Manchester United as per the report in Spanish outlet El Español

After a bad start to the season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job is in jeopardy. However, the Red Devils hierarchy are reportedly willing to keep faith in the Norwegian boss, despite the recent downfall.

Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, however, previous reports were suggesting that the Frenchman has no interest in succeeding Solskjaer, given the former France international has no experience in playing or managing in England before.

But, the recent report from El Español is claiming that the former Los Blancos boss has turned down an offer from Newcastle United as the world-cup winner is eyeing for the Manchester United job or the France national team job.

So, if Manchester United’s performance worsens up in the next game and Solskjaer faces the axe then there is a likelihood that the Frenchman might accept the Red Devils’ proposal.

Manchester United news: Signing Zidane might help a few fringe players of Manchester United

Manchester United news: Dismissing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and signing Zinedine Zidane will be the right approach from Manchester United. The Norwegian boss has failed to convert the Red Devils into a title contender, despite being at the club for almost three years. So, getting rid of the United legend will be a shrewd decision.

The Frenchman has already displayed his managerial prowess with Los Blancos by winning three Champions League and two La Liga titles. Therefore, the Old Trafford faithful might be hoping that Zidane can replicate the same success in English football if the United hierarchy can persuade the Frenchman to join.

The appointment of Zidane might be the most beneficial for Anthony Martial, Donny Van De Beek and Paul Pogba. All the aforementioned players have struggled to showcase their talents under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the French boss might be able to bring the best out of them.

Manchester United have been struggling to showcase the best performances so far this season under Solskjaer and it is looking highly unlikely that they could mount a title challenge this term. So, bringing in Zidane might still save the season for the Old Trafford club and win some silverware at the end of this season.
