Manchester United will be eyeing to regain the top four spot when they welcome Southampton on Saturday afternoon at the Old Trafford stadium.
Despite displaying a promising performance, The Red Devils failed to overcome the challenge of bottom side Burnley on Tuesday. Ralf Rangnick’s side were ahead at the interval courtesy of Paul Pogba’s brilliant strike. But, the hosts came back brilliantly in the second half and earned a crucial point in their quest for survival.
Following this result, the Old Trafford outfit have now slipped down to sixth place with 39 points in 23 games. West Ham are currently fourth with an extra point, having played one more game.
