Manchester United will return to action on Saturday when they welcome Leicester City in the Premier League

Having endured an agonizing defeat against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League ahead of the international break, the Red Devils will be hoping to get back to winning ways this weekend.

Meanwhile, Ralf Rangnick’s side are in danger of missing out on the Champions League qualification next season as they are currently sitting in sixth in the league with 50 points in 29 games. Arsenal are seemingly the likeliest candidates to secure a place in Europe’s elite club competition, given they are fourth in the table with 54 points in 28 games.

Manchester United team news against Leicester City:

Rangnick will have almost a full squad to choose from in this encounter. However, Edinson Cavani is in doubt after picking up a calf injury during the international break, while Paul Pogba is also in doubt due to injury issues. But, the Frenchman featured in the last game against South Africa on his international duty.

The final squad news will be available on Friday night after the German boss’ pre-match press conference.

Predicted Line-up:

David De Gea will continue between the sticks, while Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw could be the back four for the Red Devils.

Scott McTominay will be the deep-lying midfielder and Fred might start alongside the Scotsman. Bruno Fernandes will be the advanced midfielder in the 4-2-3-1 formation.

Having started to showcase his best in recent weeks, Jadon Sancho will start on the left. And Marcus Rashford could be on the opposite flank. Cristiano Ronaldo should lead the line for Rangnick’s side.

Manchester United’s predicted line-up against Leicester City(4-2-3-1):

David De Gea; Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw; Scott McTominay, Fred; Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford; Cristiano Ronaldo
