Manchester United are set to welcome bottom side Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils displayed a lacklustre performance against a struggling Everton side last weekend and suffered a 1-0 defeat. The result on last Saturday means that Ralf Rangnick’s side have won only one game and lost three in their last seven fixtures in all competitions.

Following this defeat, finishing in the top four spot seems to be a distant dream for the record Premier League champions. They are currently seventh in the table with 51 points in 31 games, six points behind the fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester United team news against Norwich City:

Luke Shaw and Edinson Cavani are expected to remain sidelined due to injury issues, while Scott McTominay and Raphael Varane are in doubt after missing out on last week’s game due to injury problems.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo sustained a nasty cut on the leg against the Toffees but he should be fit enough to start on Saturday. Fred was substituted early in the first after picking up a muscle injury and he will be in doubt as well.

Predicted Line-up:

David De Gea will start in goal, while Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Alex Telles should be the back four for Rangnick’s side on Saturday.

Nemanja Matic is expected to continue as the deep-lying midfielder and Paul Pogba could start alongside the Serbian. Bruno Fernandes will start in the attacking midfield position.

Jadon Sancho should start on the left-wing, while Anthony Elanga could be on the other flank. Cristiano Ronaldo might lead the line for the Red Devils.

Manchester United predicted line-up against Norwich City(4-2-3-1):

David De Gea; Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Alex Telles; Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes; Jadon Sancho, Cristiano Ronaldo, Anthony Elanga
