After a dull performance against Young Boys in midweek, Manchester United will travel to Carrow Road to encounter Norwich City in the Premier League

Despite scoring an early goal against the Swiss champions, the Red Devils only managed to come away with one point with a completely changed first eleven. Mason Greenwood scored the opener for the Old Trafford outfit before the visitors equalized through Fabian Rieder just before the interval.

Manchester United team news against Norwich City:

In terms of team news provided by the club’s website: after picking up two injuries in midweek, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is in doubt for Saturday’s clash against Dean Smith’s side. In addition to that, Edinson Cavani, Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane will also remain sidelined for this encounter along with Paul Pogba.

Meanwhile, Luke Shaw returned to the starting eleven after recovering from a head injury in midweek and it will be interesting to see if Ralf Rangnick will bring the Englishman back straight into the starting line-up against Norwich or not.

Predicted Line-up:

Having made 11 changes in the starting eleven against Young Boys, Ralf Rangnick is expected to go with the same squad in this encounter that won against Crystal Palace last Sunday. Therefore, David De Gea should return to the starting eleven after enjoying a break in midweek.

In front of the Spaniard, Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire will pair up in the centre back spot and Diogo Dalot and Alex Telles could be the two fullbacks.

In midfield, Fred and Scott McTominay are expected to return to the start after a decent outing against the Eagles last time around. Rangnick went with his preferred 4-2-2-2 formation against Crystal Palace but made a small tweak in the system in midweek but the German boss might go with the same formation against the Canaries.

So, Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho should be the two inside wingers more like two attacking midfielders. Marcus Rashford will return to the squad along with Cristiano Ronaldo in the striker position to lead the line for the Old Trafford outfit.

Manchester United predicted line-up against Norwich City(4-2-2-2):

David De Gea; Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Alex Telles; Fred, Scott McTominay; Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho; Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford
