Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has sent best wishes to Anthony Martial following the Frenchman’s loan move to Sevilla.

After making the move from AS Monaco back in 2015, the 26-year-old has struggled to showcase his talent consistently enough at the Old Trafford stadium, scoring 79 goals in 269 games in all competitions during this period.

Meanwhile, the player became frustrated this season due to lack of game time and expressed his desire to leave the club at the start of the January transfer window.

Sevilla have finally agreed to sign the Frenchman on loan until the end of this season and the Red Devils will receive around €6/7 million(£5m) loan fee as per Fabrizio Romano

Responding to a tweet from the Manchester United official page that confirmed the 26-year-old’s loan move to Sevilla, Rashford sent greetings to Martial and wrote: “Good luck my brother @AnthonyMartial.”

Can Anthony Martial showcase his talent at Sevilla?

Anthony Martial was deemed to be one of the best young talents in French football when he joined Manchester United back in 2015. However, things haven’t panned out quite well for the Frenchman at the Old Trafford stadium.

Despite enjoying a productive debut campaign in the Premier League, the forward failed to establish himself as a starter in the following season. Since then, the 26-year-old failed to secure his place in the starting line-up.

Meanwhile, he was given the responsibility to lead the line by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the 19/20 campaign. But, following a promising season, scoring 17 goals and notching up six assists in 32 league appearances. The forward could not replicate the performance in the following season. Therefore, he had to lose his place in the starting eleven once again.

It will be a big opportunity for Anthony Martial to showcase his talent away from the spotlight. The Frenchman has struggled to cope with the pressure of playing for one of the best clubs in the world. So, he will have to take full advantage of this chance.
